Friday Food For Thought

What a week it’s been! Are you surviving all the holiday parties, family gatherings, and stressed out Christmas shoppers? I did most of my Christmas shopping early this year so I was fortunate to be able to order most things online. Thank god for Amazon!

Work has been suuuuper busy lately as the restaurant is booked up with functions and parties galore. I think once January 1st hits I’m going to sleep for 24 hours straight.

We’ve also been busy at home decorating with lights and a real live tree! I’ve had an artificial tree most of my life so I really wanted to get a real one this year. I’m sure a few years down the road I’ll learn the lesson that all the parents out there already know (real trees are a pain to maintain) but for now I’m basking in all the glory that is a pine-scented apartment.
